According to Mum’s journal we spent the summer holidays 1937 with Aunty Ilsa and Uncle Adi in a tent between Neu-Schleffin and Reval. We had driven there in their car, a ‘Wanderer’.

This is fantastic, Aunty Uta. You know, when people bring out photo albums I LOVE it!! I really love staring a long time at old photos, looking at people’s expressions, the backgrounds, the fashion, people in the background. I just love it. You look so sweet – really sweet :) I loved you watering the flowers, although it looked like you were watering your dog! He’s so black, I wondered what it was at first. Precious!

Have you heard of shutterfly.com? Wonder if you can use it in Australia! You can,ake a book out of all these photos and gift it to your kids, one book each!

One book to each of the kids. Great idea. Have to find out what I can do about it. Thank you very much, Mary-Ann. Wishing you a good weekend!

It really amazes me that these old pictures were well kept. It so nice to look at!

It is amazing! Mum kept all the photos in a big album. The album is pretty much falling apart now. But most of the photos look still all right. Thanks for stopping by, Nelson.
