I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Looks like a lovely day for everyone – I’ve never heard of the Easter Bunny coming to distribute eggs – we always had to hunt for them!
I think we were absolutely spoiled in this beautiful Restaurant, Cat. I hope you and your Mum had a lovely Easter too with a bit of sunshine and enjoying the spring season. 🙂
I am glad that you had such a happy day.
We had some very happy days, Elizabeth. Some of the family stayed with us from Thursday night to Monday morning. On Good Friday some more family visitors stayed with us during the afternoon. Easter Saturday as well as Easter Sunday we did go on a lot of outings with our visitors from Melbourne and Newcastle. Our son Martin drove us around in their rental car. All in all it was great to see most of our family during the Easter holidays. Hope you, Elizabeth, had a good Easter too and were able to see some of your family.
