Yesterday, we drove to Wollongong. Peter decided to go to the Hearing Clinic there to get another check-up. The Wollongong Mall had undergone some extensive renovations some time ago. I never had had a chance yet to see what the mall looks like now. Well, yesterday I saw it and took the following pictures.

This morning we made it to the Croombs Sporting Complex, where I did a bit of walking, and Peter did thirteen rounds of walking and running on the oval in his toe-shoes. There are actually seven different sporting facilities. It is a beautiful area. We were glad that we went there today. We had not been there for a while. It felt terrific to enjoy the outdoors on a beautiful balmy morning like today.

So, how did the eye test go? I had mine done on Monday and I passed good enough to keep driving, but only just.!
Congratulations, Gerard, on passing the eye test. 🙂
There was no eye test, Gerard. For some reason I got the ears and the eyes mixed up. Silly me! 🙂 I should really take a bit more care about what I am saying!
Aunty got it all wrong. I’m not looking through my ears and I’m not hearing with my eyes. I lost my hearing aid the other day at Moss Vale and wanted to make an appointment.
I am very sorry about this mistake. I changed it now. Why did I write eye clinic? It really does not make any sense to me. I don’t know what I thought. I must have been dreaming. Peter has to get his ears cleaned before he goes to his appointment. As he says, he lost one hearing aid. And the other one for the other ear often makes noises. Very irritating! He was told, his hearing aid does not need cleaning, but his ears should be cleaned before his appointment. Peter often has trouble to get the wax out of his ears. He is lucky that he can get new subsidised hearing aid when he goes to his appointment, because his old hearing aids were pretty old already anyway.
