Last month Lucas turned four. His birthday was celebrated in the Yacht Club at Lake Illawarra. From the club one has a good view across the lake.

The family birthday party was on a Sunday, the day before the actual birthday. Matthew, Peter and I had earlier on that Sunday picked up Caroline from Sydney Airport where Caroline had been flying in from Darwin via Adelaide.

    1. Both these boys are our all delight, Emu. So, Lucas is 4 now, and Alexander is going to be 2 next month. Alex is pretty tall for his age, isn’t he?

        These two great-grandsons are the sons of our grandson Ryan and they live close to us. Our two great-granddaughters are the daughters of our grandson Tristan and they live near Melbourne.
        Alas, Roxy, one of our granddaughters, is now expecting her first child in November. She knows already that it is going to be a boy. 🙂
