We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. I totally understand as to why … Wishing you well Uta.. ❤
Thank you, Sue. I am a grandmother and a great-grandmother, and I wish my offspring well! 🙂 ❤
All my great-grandchildren are raised by their loving parents, and are also looked after by their extended family. The love that they experience, hopefully gives them a good start in life.
Even in cases where certain difficulties arise as far as conception is concerned, may a very much wanted child still thrive and be happy and loved all the way.
Likewise 💖 I agree Uta, as a Grandma my self.. xx
💖🥰🤗
Oh, Aunty Uta.
This article makes my blood boil. The planet is overwhelmingly populated by complete idiots.
First of all, how would anyone know whether a semen sample came from an unvaxxed donor ? OK idiots – prepare to get ripped off big time.
Second, there is no evidence that vaccination causes damage to DNA – but there is plenty of evidence that viral infections cause massive damage to the human body and DNA damage cannot be ruled out.
Thirdly, such women are raising somebody else’s kid – passing on somebody else’s DNA.
There is plenty of evidence that a lot of lawyers will get rich when somebody else’s DNA produces kids with birth defects.
Lastly, on a population basis, imagine those millions of desperate women produce millions of babies with genetic abnormalities that are not immediately obvious and those babies grow up and have babies of their own with insufficient genetic variation to mask out genetic disease ?
Result – hoards of people with a very high incidence of genetic abnormalities and poor survival fitness.
Give me strength, Aunty Uta. As someone legendary once said “Father, they know not what they do”.
End of Rant 🙂
Well said!
Much appreciated, rangewriter. I’m trained in applied science (in agriculture) and despite my tendency to become outraged when poorly ~ or uniformed people spout pure BS, my response comes from the heart as well as the head.
I’m not arguing with anti-vaxxers that a tiny proportion of some people DO suffer bad or even fatal responses from a vaccination. I’m arguing that to not vaccinate is a decision that impacts more than the individual – if everyone did that, there would be no herd immunity.
And of late, the terrible loss of life as a result of Covid 19 would have been much worse than when 50-100 million people died from Spanish Flu in 1918 – and there WAS NO VACCINE. The 1918 world’s population was 1/4 of what we have now – and back then far fewer people travelled long distances.
I remember vividly as a child when my mother was terrified of of the polio virus and the overwhelming community relief when Drs Salk and Sabin produced their vaccines and we all lined up at school to get a jab – and then later a drop of red liquid under the tongue.
Back then people might not have been super educated, but they were not so stupid as to argue against doctors and scientists with decades of training and research.
Yet now, we see anti-vax idiots not vaccinating their kids against common viruses like measles, german measles and whooping cough – ALL of which are more than capable of killing babies and children. These are the same people who WERE vaccinated because their own parents were not stupid !
If you want to see what whooping cough (pertussis) is like – check out this YouTube video.
Oh I hear you, Therese. And must confess that we’re probably of the same generation and my mother was…..wait for it….an anti-vaxxer! She was rabidly anti-doctor and thought she could cure everything by reading Prevention magazine and taking vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. I assume I had the polio vax, but I didn’t get much of anything else. I had measles, mumps, and chicken pox as a kid, so am pretty immune. But as an adult I’m an early adopter of vaccines. As yet, I’ve never had a bad reaction even when doubling up vaccines at the same time. No shingles for me, thank you very much! And I lost a classmate who was way to young to die from flu, but he lived alone and I suspect he got dehydrated and rendered unable to function.
Hello, Linda!
I find it very interesting that your mother was so much against vaccines.
Our children could not be vaccinated against polio at the right time because something had gone wrong with the vaccine. So, the vaccination had to be delayed to our peril.
And hello Therese!
You say that a tiny proportion of some people DO suffer bad or even fatal responses from a vaccination. I believe this may have happend especially with some Covid vaccinations. So, a few women, are looking to be provided with “Unvaxxed Sperm”. Well, maybe more women than we would like may have had some very negative esperiences with vaxx. And it seems these woman also do not have a partner who is as ‘unvaxxed’ as they would like the partner to be. That they choose to take a risk in the way they choose a sperm, well, it seems it is their decision. You may not like their decision, but you probably cannot say, that it is illegal. I am sorry that all this upsets you so very much. As far as Covid is concerned, I wished it had never happened.
