My internet does not work properly. This is why I have not published anything for a while. If I cannot find anyone to put everything in order so that I can use my computer without major difficulties then maybe I’ll have to give up using my computer. How on earth can a computer expert come to my house? How do I find an expert.

My social life goes now better and better in an old fashioned way! Technology is just not for me anymore. At least I can still use my landline phone!

    1. Oh Linda I can only agree with this! Actually my daughter Monika and her son Ryan want to do some garden work for me at the beginning of March. So, when my grandson Ryan is here I may get a chance to ask him for some advice about computers!

    1. Right now, Jan, I have some computer access again. How lucky is this! Also I am happy to say that my phone connection works alright. However, I have only a landline phone. So, when I am out of the house, I cannot stay in touch with people! However, there is still a Postal Service!!

  4. I can relate to this, Uta! 🙂
    Lucky for us, we still get a phone book delivered to our door every year and it has all the businesses and their phone numbers and addresses listed. It’s called The Yellow Pages. It’s so helpful! It’s good to have around when the internet goes out or the computer needs repair work.
    I’ve always felt IRL (in real life) and social activities is more important than the internet. 🙂

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment, dear Carolyn! You say that social activities are more important than the internet. I too find this more and more. Still, online friends can be such a blessing! Yes, I hope things can be straightened out. I think I need someone knowledgeble to actually come to my house to have a look at the whole setup. Luckily there are several computer repair shops here in Dapto. In future I may be able to use one of them again.
