Beneath I show what I copied about computing. I am very, very advanced in years. I am not out to learn everything about computing. Could not some Computer Experts perhaps spacialize in helping some of the very aged population? All sorts of people are trained to help the aged in thei homes. I am on an Age Care Package. It would be so nice, if a person that has a very good computer knowledge could come along to my house to set me up for good with everything that I need for good computing. Otherwise I just waste my time with guessing games. That is very frustating indeed.

  1. Yes, one-on-one tutoring would be so nice. Contact your local high school’s tech teacher. S/He May have a student who needs to complete his/ her required volunteer hours!

  3. Jan’s idea IS great! I was thinking about that before I read her comment.
    In the USA, we have the OATS (Older Adults Technology Services) program that provides free computer classes and tech help to people over age 60.
    Do you have anything like that in your country?

    1. To help people over 60! This is great, Carolyn. I should have done something like this 30 years ago. As a 60 year old I am sure I would be able to get a great amount of support in Australia. But who is ready to teach a forgetful 90 year old?
