Monday, June 10th, 2024, was a Public Holiday in NSW. So, the long weekend did start on Friday evening. For Caroline and Matthew that meant they were able to come and see us in Dapto on Saturday and still having Sunday and Monday off work.
A special treat was that Caroline and Matthew drove with Les and me up Macquarie Pass. Their new car went very easily up that Pass. It was a very good drive, especially since all that rain had finally stopped.
Naturally we had some pies at the Robertson Pieshop which turned out to be as delicious as always. All in all we had a very enjoyable day.
