I am 90 now!

The following is a reblog.

Actually, I wrote and published it soon after Peter had passed away. Amazingly, I did turn 90 now! I find this blog from 2020 says so much about my life then and now!

  1. Thank you, Joe! 🙂http://So in 2020 I wrote: I am happy when I get the chance to do everything slowly and at my own pace. If this is getting slower and slower, so be it. I have no desire for a hetic pace any more, none whatsoever. Besides, if I am left to do everything slowly, I might perhaps be able to celebrate my 90th birthday in four year’s time!

    1. Yes Joe, and it is indeed time for celebrations now. The cruise to Vanuatu ,that we had planned for my birthday this year, did not eventuate. Nerver mind, there’are still going to come some beautiful celebrations with family and friends at the nearby German Club. 🙂

  2. Congratulations dear Uta – herzliche Glückwünsche! I hope the celebrations aren’t too tiring for you, and that you get some quality time with all your childrenm grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as your dearest friends.

    1. Dear Cat, ganz herzlichen Dank für die lieben Glückwünsche!
Zu meinem Geburtstag war ich mit Les ganz alleine. Next Sunday is to be a really great Familentag with lunch at the German Club. 🙂
With some friends I already had some great celebrations a few days before my birthdsay. 🙂 My birthday I was supposed to be celebarating on a cruise ship with dcaughter Monika and granddaughter Natasha. We were to board the ship on Wed, the 18th and return to Sydney on Friday, rhe 27th. However, there was a difficulty with Monika’s passport and we had to let the boat leave without the 3 of us.
Maybe this was all for the good. 🙂

  3. Happy belated birthday, Uta! I’m glad to know that you will celebrate with a great Familietag! The cruise would have been nice, but its the people that really matter, right?
