Days spent just typing….

I think, dear Wendy, you give me a good example how daily typing may become very important in or lives. Thank you so much!

wendy7713's avatarWhich me am I today?

It’s the weekend and it’s raining. In fact it’s forecast to rain all weekend. I knew I mustn’t fall asleep, which I could have done quite easily if I’d tried. But no tired body and no tired brain at bed time would have meant a sleepless night and I really didn’t want that. So I had to find myself something practical to do inside.

Once upon a time, it would have been a DIY project – putting up shelves, decorating, knitting, sewing, making curtains…..the list was endless. There was nothing I wouldn’t try, simply because I didn’t have the money to pay anyone else. But also, I LOVED doing thing myself. That feeling of achievement when the finished project was staring you straight in the face and you could say “I did that”. Nothing quite like it, even if it wasn’t perfect, it was your extra drill hole or whatever🤣

Uta’s Diary

auntyuta's avatarUta's Site

I am sorry to say, that for quite some time now I did not get around to writing something in my diary. After such a long time it is difficult to know where to begin. Quite a lot has been happening in my private life as well as what has been going on publicly. As far as public life is concerned, I am always concerned with the truth. But really, what is the truth? What are people in public life lying about and what are they hiding? Some things are obvious lies. But do people care? Mostly the lies are not being dealt with in the mainstream media. Why do people trust the mainstream media? I don’t know.

So, I am going to concentrate now mainly on my private life. Whenever I have the chance to talk to someone who is prepared to listen to me for a bit. I…

Uta’s Diary Part Two

I am in good health. So, here is finally a bit of Diary from me again.

auntyuta's avatarUta's Site

A little while ago I published already what I had written into my diary this morning. So, what did I do the last few weeks or so? I can say I did meet a lot of different people. Some people were the same I always do meet from time to time. But I also took the initiative to talk to some strangers. A few of these strangers were very interesting to talk to.

I cannot recall when I have last been out after sunset. Staying home by myself at nighttime is a significant part of my life. Of course I do not always want to be in the company of other people. But for sure I do not like to be every evening totally by myself. So, where is the balance? How can I achieve a balance?

Just looking after myself nearly always 24/7 and looking after a three bedroom…

Our ‘Community Microbiome’ Is Under Attack — Should We Worry?

This is so interesting! The question is, what is natural, and what is not natural anymore in our sterile modern lives?

stuartbramhall's avatarThe Most Revolutionary Act

By  Toby Rogers, Ph.D.

Writing on Substack, Toby Rogers, Ph.D. reflects that throughout history, humans shared a microbiome through intimate contact and community activities. But modern practices have isolated us and disrupted our “community microbiome” — what does that mean for our health?

In the medical freedom movement we focus a lot on the wisdom of the body’s innate immune system. But that’s just one (very complicated) piece in a much larger and more interesting system.

For the first year of life, infants don’t have much of an immune system. But nature already solved this…

The Dissolution of NATO May Be the Only Way to Prevent WWIII

stuartbramhall's avatarThe Most Revolutionary Act

Dennis Kucinich

The proxy war of the US vs. Russia in Ukraine could easily develop into World War III. The litany of dangerous weaponry presaging a direct, full-scale war between the U.S. and Russia is instructive:  The most advanced tanks, F-16s, depleted uranium munitions, cluster bombs, and even discussion of “tactical” nuclear weapons are thrown into an already toxic admixture, always open to further miscalculation.

This is not to absolve Russia of the invasion.  One cannot ignore the dialectic of conflict, which left unchecked, will lead to a greater disaster than has already befallen the people of Ukraine.

Key to this miasma is NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, whose principal European members are committed to a total war with Russia, but on the U.S.’ tab.

NATO military strategies  have lacked cohesion and coherence and have led to stasis on the battlefield.  Victory over Russia has occurred in the western media…

By 2030 You Will Not East Meat

Cities Race to Zero: Who’s in Cities Race to Zero? retrieved 17 June 2023

A report published in 2019 and re-emphasised in 2023 recommends that by 2030 we will not be permitted to eat meat or dairy products, we will be limited to three items of new clothing per year and one aeroplane flight every three years.  It will start in countries that “consume the most.”

Published in 2019, ‘The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World’ report sets out targets for cities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as consistent with the 2015 Paris Agreement ambitions.  What this report aims to do is quantify and then suggest ways for city “leaders” to reduce consumption-based emissions.  In other words, reduce what you and I consume be it food, clothes or travel etc.

The place to start, a press release stated, is with those who consume the most…

We are Born to Love.

freefall852's avatarfreef'all852

We are born to love.

If we were born,

To never love, nor feel pain,

From bruised flesh, broken heart,

All in vain.

We would be born,

With blood cold as stone,

And an exterior skeleton,

A fate predetermined from our birth,

Toward an undesirable death..

In short..it would be hell on earth.

So. . .

Let me laugh, let me weep,

Should I cry myself to sleep,

Then may I wake to a bright, fresh day,

To start anew life’s loving forays.
