I seem to remember seeing this beautiful women in Berlin 1977, thirty five years ago almost to the day. It probably was in the same month, May.
How lovely, just lovely. And I love berlioz’ comment 🙂
Berlioz is my husband Peter. In 1977 we went from Australia for a visit to Berlin and other places. It was our first visit back to our home country. This round mirror happened to be in the little entrance room to the flat of Peter’s sister. Peter loved the sight of me in that mirror and took a picture. Looking at it now, I feel like I look at some one related to me. I know I am in this picture, but it doesn’t feel like it. I ask myself, is this really me?
Oh It’s you! Lovely capture!
Thank you, Nelson, but remember this was 35 years ago!
The first time I saw the picture, I knew it was you my dear friend. The eyes and the smile doesn’t hide the beautiful person behind it. Age comes to all of us but there are parts of us that time can never change like the heart, the soul and the goodness in all of us. Beautiful sharing from you husband. Take care.
Dear Island Traveler. thank you very much for these beautiful words.
I guess Peter took the picture at the right moment.
Auntyuta is a beautiful person, inside and outside. Sometimes I just look at her in amazement. She can be a pain in the neck sometimes. But this is okay too as we soon make up again.
Lovely, Uta. It may have been a long time ago, but you’re still lovely.
Yea, well, I hope I can live up to that. Thanks, Pat, for commenting.
What a beautiful picture of you…
Thank you, Eliz.
