In my Church four candles were lit for the fourth Sunday of Advent. This is a window in the Catholic Church of Dapto.
After the Sunday Mass I took these pictures of the nativity.
Martin drove me to the 7.30 morning Mass. After Mass I was picked up by Martin, S and Peter and we did go straight away to Wollongong Beach.
Soon some life savers arrived.
We stayed for about an hour on the beach. Then we drove on to the swimming pool a bit further North. We all went for a swim. I love to have a swim in this salt water pool. All in all we had an excellent Sunday morning.

I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

A beautiful morning all round Auntyuta, Mass followed by a visit to the beach and a swim, sounds very enjoyable.
Lovely pics of the nativity scene.

Thank you, Ian. Hope you and Ana have a lovely Christmas Day too.
Are you going to see any of your grandchildren?

It’s Christmas Day today. The family celebrations still go on. We’re having a lovely time. Hope your and Daniel’s Christmas is an enjoyable one. Best Wishes,
Aunty Uta and Peter, Hugs from both of us. 🙂
Wir hatten sehr schöne Weihnachten mit unserer Familie, liebe Gislinde. Ich werde darüber bald noch mehr berichten. Wir haben auch wieder sehr viele Bilder gemacht!
Liebe Grüsse, Uta
Best Wishes for the coming New Year to you too, dear Sheila.
We enjoyed our Christmas celebrations with lots of family. Now Peter and I are on our own again which seems strange. Definitely a lot more quiet! 🙂

I remember this morning of the fourth of Advent-Sunday quite well. It was so good that our daughter-in-law was with us too. At the time she was ‘unofficially’ still with our son Martin.

Looks like a beautiful day too 🙂
We just loved spending some time with our family, Munira. This makes the holiday time really special. 🙂
Merry Christmas to you Aunty! I hope you and Peter are well and you are surrounded by those who you love. I’m sure Gabby is with you in spirit.
You are right, Mary-Ann, the holidays were a great family affair for us. We did think about Gaby a lot while the celebrations were going on.
Hope you enjoyed your Christmas auntyuta, always blessed with your family. Lovely captures .
Best Wishes for the coming New Year
