Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

There’s a lot of love in those pictures :-I do like your Advent wreath, it looks like a true German one.
This Advent wreath we’ve had for many, many years, Cat. Come Advent I dig it out once more, every year again and again. Still love doing it. Somehow it doesn’t seem to age much. We put the candles beside it now. In years past we used to struggle to get fitting candles to put within the wreath. But we gave up now bothering about such details!
Beautiful family pics Uta, agree with Catterel, every picture is a display of family love and happiness.
Cherished moments.

Thanks, Ian, thanks very much for commenting. Caroline and Matthew are going to drive us to Melbourne on Christmas Day. We want to leave very early in the morning, maybe as early as 5 am! 🙂

I just noticed this blog with pictures from Caroline’s birthday in 2013. Yes, I do remember this very Happy Day. I do reblog it now for old times sake!
