Tomorrow, Saturday, is going to be St.Valentine’s Day. I hope it is going to be a good one!
Chocolate 90%? This is really something, isn’t it? This chocolate comes from Poland. It caught our eyes when last Wednesday we did a bit of shopping in Sydney.
As soon as we arrived home Peter composed the above picture with this extra special chocolate!
Before we went to bed last night, we became aware that there had been a bit of a break through during the talks in Minsk. In only a few hours the fighting in the East Ukraine is going to stop. Let’s hope, that this approaching cease-fire is going to last.

I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Yes – let’s hope that this Valentine’s day ceasefire really will be observed and be the start of peace in Ukraine.
Actually, Cat, I think the ceasefire is supposed to start at 0 o’clock on the 15th of February local time. Yea, let’s hope it is going to be the start of peace in Ukraine.
I second this. We are going to see a play with a special Japanese / Australian theme.
Rarely am I a chocolate eater Uta, but if I do eat chocolate it is mainly Dark chocolate, not sure why but it has a better stringent taste.
Looks like there may be a breakthrough in the Ukraine debacle Uta, but am not really convinced as Putin seems to be an egomaniac, someone mentioned he suffers from Aspergers, not sure.
Hope you had a beautiful Valentines day.
Regards to you both.
Thank you, Emu. Yes, we had a lovely day in Sydney yesterday. I hear it’s still very hot in Mildura. It’s not too hot in Sydney.
Hope your Valentine’s Day was good despite the extreme heat.
Greetings, Uta and Peter 🙂

Amen. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and to Peter (tell him he composed a lovely picture.)
Love,

43 sounds pretty awful. I hope the night is going to be much cooler
Best wishes,
Uta
The still life is lovely and I too hope that the peace will come and stay.
Oh yes, Gerard, let there be peace. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
