Peter did take all these pictures today. We had very pleasant weather: Not too hot, not too cold. We enjoyed the day at the temple very much. Some dear friends gave us a lift to the temple and back. All in all a really good day.

They have great teas there, Ian. We had lotus tea when we arrived. Later for lunch we had ginger tea in a similar pot. The lunch was vegetarian, of course, and very good.
I was glad that I was able to walk up to the Gratitude Bell. For me it is quite a walk uphill, but I made it! 🙂

Sounds like a great outing Uta, and seeing the bell a wonderful experience.

Love all the statues, and those images are beautiful Uta.. such an amazing place you have shared with us. And like Ian said, I wouldn’t mind tasting that Lotus Tea.. 🙂 I am a herbal tea drinker 🙂

Thanks for commenting, Sue. You are right, it is an amazing place to visit. I love herbal teas, especially when they are presented in such a lovely way. 🙂
Peter just tells me that we should visit the temple gardens again in November when hopefully the Jacarandas and Illawarra Flame trees are in bloom. 🙂

Yes, it was a great day. Peter wants to go there again in November when the jacaranda and Illawarra flame trees are in flower. The blue and red look beautiful next to each other. 🙂

Beautiful photos Uta, and looks a peaceful place. I thought for a minute the lotus tea was a gold fish!!!

Well, we drank every bit of liquid that was in that ‘goldfish bowl’. It was delicious! 🙂
