Yesterday we went to Carter’s First Birthday Party. There was a barbeque and a jumping castle for the kids.

Looks like fun! We also have a first birthday coming up on 4 December – my youngest great-granddaughter. But I don’t think there’ll be any outdoors festivities here in Switzerland 😜

  Well, of course he was a happy boy (despite some teething problems); alas we can assume he is not going to remember this special day as he gets older. But he can later on look at all the photos that were taken. For instance he might probably very much like to look at pictures of him with his parents in front of the birthday cake. 🙂
  So, two more birthdays are coming up in our family within the next two weeks. And of course, then there is Christmas. It all comes up very quickly!!
