The Gods of Money

How the US Uses War to Protect the Dollar

Dr Stuart Bramhall says that the videos are are lot better than the post – She says: “All I’m trying to do is inspire people to watch them.”

This is what I am doing right now.

I found the following in YouTube:

“The Gods of Money” F. William Engdahl is an American German freelance journalist, historian and economic researcher. “The Gods of Money” lecture is based on Engdahls book “Gods of Money”. The dollar financial system of Wall Street was born not at a conference in Bretton Woods New Hampshire in 1944. It was born in the first days of August, 1945 with the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

After that point the world was in no doubt who was the power to reckon with. This lecture traces the history of money as an instrument of power; it traces the evolution of that power in the hands of a tiny elite that regards themselves as, quite literally, gods-The Gods of Money. How these gods abused their power and how they systematically set out to control the entire world is the subject.

Uta’s Diary, 19th of April 2017

A week ago Peter started his BCG Treatment:

http://www.macmillan.org.uk/information-and-support/bladder-cancer/non-invasive-bladder-cancer/treating/bcg-treatment/bcg-treatment-non-invasive-bladder.html

He was supposed to get the second treatment today, but it was cancelled because a ‘bug’ was found in his urine. The doctor told Peter, that it was a very unusual bug. When Peter asked him, should he be worried, the doctor said no, that ‘this unusual bug was very common’. Peter still does not know, what sort of bug it actually is. But he has to undergo now a 14 day treatment with antibiotics. So his next treatment with BCG is now scheduled for in three weeks.

All of us did the Loop Walk. Some went a bit further up before they turned back into the Loop. My brother Peter and Astrid went the furthest. I waited for them in the reception.

Alexander and Lucas found quite a few more little Easter Eggs and shared them with all the adults! That was after a delicious lunch with filled Bread Rolls provided by Monika and Ebony. We were also treated with coffee from the cafeteria. The kids did get some Ice-Cream from Uncle Troy.

For Afternoon Coffee and Cake we were home again.

The Gods of Money

William Engdahl (2015)

The first video is a 2015 presentation by William Engdahl about his 2010 book The Gods of Money. It focuses on the use of US economic and military warfare to maintain the supremacy of the US dollar as the global reserve currency.

As his point of departure, he begins with the 1944 Bretton Woods agreement, in which the Allied powers agreed to use the gold-backed US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. In 1971 when Nixon was forced to end the gold standard,* the gold-backed US dollar was replaced by the “petrodollar.” According to Engdahl, it was so named because of a secret agreement the US made with Saudi Arabia – in return for a guarantee that OPEC would only trade oil in US dollars, the US guaranteed the Saudis unlimited military hardware.

In this way, oil importing nations (most of the…

Some more Rain onWednesday, the 12th of April 2017

Well, yesterday, on Tuesday, the weather was beautiful. We went to Corrimail to the new Primary Medical Centre:

Peter’s doctor had moved from Dapto to Corrimail. The new doctor in Dapto was on a three week leave. So Peter decided he could see his old doctor in Corrimail. At the same time I managed to see a skin specialist at this centre in Corrimail. She gave me some treatment straight away. I did not have to wait! I was very happy that this service was available.

When we arrived home yesterday all my washing that I had hung out early in the morning, was dry already. It was beautiful to have fresh bed linen! Today, Wednesday, Peter had to start his BCG treatment at Wollongong Hospital. When we arrived back home, it was raining again.

Peter and Astrid were with us in Corrimail yesterday. Today they left early to catch the train to Sydney. They were looking forward to explore Sydney for one day. I hope the weather will be okay for them. They experienced a beautiful mild and sunny day with a light breeze last Saturday. They had booked a trip on the Tall Ship James Craig:

It was a beautiful sailing adventure for them. They loved it very much.

They spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Sydney and stayed overnight in Glebe with C and M. On Friday we spent the day with P and A in Sydney, visiting the Chinese Gardens and walking along Darling Harbour to where the Tall Ship was to have a look at it.

On Saturday Peter and I stayed home in Dapto, but on Sunday we drove to Glebe and had a lovely day there with C and M, and P and A.

Last week on Thursday we went to Port Kembla Beach with our guests. I still have pictures from last Thursday and Friday as well as Sunday and want to publish some of them now:

No Rain onWednesday, the 5th of April 2017

As far as I can recall, we had no rain last Wednesday. We had first stopped at Bulli Beach and from there we drove further up north along the Sea Cliff Bridge and up to Bald Hill. On the way back we stopped at Austinmer and had there some fish and chips for a late lunch at a nice cafe. At Austinmer there is also a beach and a swimming pool. We liked to take some more pictures at Austinmer Beach.

On that day when we stopped at Austinmer there was hardly anyone at the beach, I would think though that some visitors may appear during the upcoming Easter period.

Wednesday, 5th of April 2017

Last Wednesday we went with our guests to Bulli Beach. It was very overcast. We had some coffee in a beach cafe near the swimming pool   contemplating whether there was a chance that we could go for a swim even though there was no sun. But as soon as we had finished our coffee the sun had come out. The swimming pool close to the beach looked very tempting. My brother and his wife are good swimmers and stayed in the pool for quite a while. Peter, my brother even went into the surf for a swim later on. He knew he had to stay between the flags, so that the life guards could keep an eye on him. I did not stay in the pool for very long. But I found my little swim very refreshing.

The above pictures were displayed in the cafe. I liked them very much.
