Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

Awesome!
Glad you liked it. Happy Thanksgiving!
I follow your blog but never seem to receive an email when you post something new so I missed this. Carmina Burana is one of my favorites ever since the 1960’s when I performed in it as a tenor in the chorus. I remember we had to write some of the words on our hands, arms, whatever, because us guys could not memorize the words. In fact, when I told my fiance about the “opera” she wanted to change her name, she liked Carmina Burana so much. So now, in my posts, I refer to her as C. For Carmina. Thank you for this clip. I will be visiting more often in the future, I promise.
Hi Doc! Many thanks for your comments. Carmina Burana is a favourite in our family too. I am always amazed about Andrew Rieu’s ability to enthuse people. Best wishes, Uta.
Dear Auntie Uta:
Hello there. Have you ever heard of this Jackie Evancho? A friend sent me her YouTube clip. All my arm hair stood and I felt like crying as I listened to her! Enjoy!
It’s great to see talent like this. Thanks for the clip.
Magnificent! And so is little Jackie.
Exquisite! TY 🙂
