Aunty Uta’s Diary

Today is a good day for me!

The past few days I was struggling with some pain in my hips and legs.  However since early this morning all the pain is gone like magic. I feel absolutely revived. It is just marvellous to be able to move about without experiencing any pain.

This ia such a good day for me.

  1. Thanks for sharing in my joy, dear Munira. This episode teaches me that I have to be careful how I go about things, what I eat, drink, how I breathe, how fast I’m allowed to move. Today the Thai Yoga class starts again.after a very long summer-break. This Yoga (beginners’!) class teaches me a lot of discipline. I love it!

  2. Sorry to hear about the pain. I’m happy to know that the pain went away. It’s hard to have any sort of pain. When I hurt my back 12 years ago…It was excruciating…I can’t even take a shower right and someone had to help me….I pray for your good health…Happy Valentine’s day. wishing you and your family all the love and joy.

    1. I keep reading so many blogs, sitting in front of the computer for hours. Maybe I should cut down on this a bit. My husband reckons I spend too much time with the computer. Often when I read people’s blogs I feel that I really want to get to know them, and I start going back in time to as many blogs as possible. And I always seem to end up discovering new blogs too!

During the Easter week we’re going to Melbourne to be at our son’s place for his birthday. This time we’ll be going by train and we booked the tickets already. While we are in Melbourne, we’ll be seeing our two great-grandchildren again. They are 3 and 4 yrs old. They might still remember us
from when we saw them towards the end of last year for half a day. We took pictures with them at Apollo Bay. Beautiful Memories! To see them for
Easter is going to be good too.

Islandbliss, thanks for taking the time to come to my blog and thanks for your prayers. and good wishes. Same wishes back to you and your family!

  3. I am glad to hear you are free from the pain now, Auntyuta.

And I can understand your desire to get to know the people whose blogs you read. There are a few bloggers for whom I have felt the same way. Though I am not very proud of some of my archived posts, I was glad to see that you found my blog worthy of devoting so much time. Thank you for that.

I hope you have a great holiday with your grand children. 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for commenting! Well, the pain in the hips and legs still comes back from time to time but not as bad as it was before. And I am more confident not that I can always make it go away again. Breathing exercises and a lot of stretching, slowly, sowly, slowly, this is what I do. Plus a lot of water and Vitamin C. So even when it comes back a bit the pain is not as bad any more. And there are also totally painfree days. What a blessing!

Our great-grandchildren, who are in a suburb of Melbourne, just started kindergarten, both of them, the 3 yr old and the 4 yr old together. They love it. They regretted not being able to go there over the weekend. They loved it that much! Their mum put a number of fantastic kindergarten-photos on facebook last week. My husband, who follows facebook, showed me these pictures. I was blown away; these photos are very, very good! You can see in these photos how much they enjoy playing with all the beautiful toys.

We are going to see them at Eastertime. I wonder whether they’ll be going on some easter-egg hunting in their outdoor area! First comes Lent now. But soon it’s going to be Easter when we’ll go for another visit to Melbourne.
