Gaby’s Funeral Day, Celebration of her Life

Give thanks to the

Lord, call on his

name; make known

among the nations

what he has done.

Sing to him, sing

praise to him; tell of

all his wonderful acts.

Psalm 105; 1-2

  1. Sincere wishes of peace in your direction. But for my Mother, I have never lost anyone of great meaning to me. I don’t know what it would be like. I am glad you have a good partner.

  2. Sincere thanks, Noeleen, for your wishes of peace. Yes, I’m very grateful for all the support we’re getting. The three children, who are left to us, and their partners have done an awful lot for Peter and me these past two weeks. On top of this we had the pleasure of the addition of another great-grandchild just three days after Gaby’s passing. He’s a very sweet little boy. Lovely to have another baby to cuddle!

  3. Again my deepest condolences to you and your family. I must say that the pictures of her radiate love, joy, delight and a gentle spirit that understands all we share as humans. She lived a spirit filled life and was a cheerful soul that touched many… May she bless you all from heaven. TY for sharing her life with us. Sending you virtual hugs and healing light…

  4. uta~ i have been thinking about you and praying for you and your family. I am certain these days are bittersweet for you. You have so many joyous precious memories of Gaby and times spent with her. You have the ache from the loneliness for her. While watching Australian olympians compete this week, I love to think of Gaby, free from her earthly shell and able to participate and spread her joy everywhere. blessings and prayers~kate

  5. Hi Uta, I have not been here for awhile. Took a blogging hiatus in June and July because of travel, etc. Just read your news now. Sorry to hear of your loss of Gaby. Blessings to you. Hugs from my corner, Chris

    1. Thanks for the hugs, Chris, and for your comments. Yes, Gaby left us very suddenly. But she lived her life to the full, right to the last minute. Peter and I are going to travel to Berlin, Germany, in one month. We’ll be staying there for more than two months. We hope we’ll be able to do some blogging from over there.
      Love, Uta
