Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

Thanks for continuing to share your journey Auntyuta, I look forward to some interesting informative pics of your visit to the Jewish museum as this part of history must never be forgotten.
Aussie Ian
Hello, Ian,
the Jewish Museum is a huge, huge place and all the information in it is overwhelming. One can’t possibly take it all in in one day. But you do get an overall view and impression about Jewish life over the centuries.I was impressed how many groups, school-classes and general public were at the museum. The huge place was immensely patronized which gave me a very good feeling. Sadly the Jewish Theater wasn’t very well patronized, at least not on that Saturday night when we were there.
Aussie Uta, at present in Berlin
Likewise. I look forward to it also. I recently blogged about my Aunt Roma who is a holocaust survivor in http://www.LegacyTales.WordPress.com. She’s been an inspiration to me for 40 years!
Thanks for sharing a fun and happy post. Beautiful pictures that makes me feel that I was there too. Take care.
Thanks for commenting, IT. The Festival of Lights was great fun, I mean we had fun walking through the streets and watching all the changing lights on a great number of public buildings.
