Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

Our daughter Monika has two sons and three daughters. Little Lucas is her first grandchild. It’s quite likely that she’s going to have some more grandchildren eventually. So the family grows. Thanks for commenting, Catt.
“Super Grandma” is a lovely title, Uta! I like that a lot. 🙂 What a beautiful family! I’m so glad to see the photos and glimpse a wider portrait of those you love. That darling boy is so fortunate to have such a loving family, and I know you all appreciate the love he adds! 🙂
Hi Debra! We went to a funeral recently. The deceased had been our neighbour for more than eighteen years. He was 86 and was originally from England. His daughter talked about it what a great dad he had been. Also a granddad and a super-granddad. This is where I got the expression from. I think so too: It sounds lovely!
Beautiful!
Thanks, M and M
Isn’t it a lovely feeling to see the generations growing? A living family tree! Strong family resemblances, too!
