This picture is a memory trigger for me, Catt, because it reminds me of the ‘Kinderzimmer’ and the toys I used to have. I am sure I still had all the things in the picture when I was already quite a bit older. So I’m pretty sure I do remember all these things.

I must have enjoyed playing in my ‘Kinderzimmer’. It looks like I was playing with some wooden blocks when my Mum took this picture.

I hope in future to be able to share many more of my childhood pictures. I am so lucky that my Mum took quite a few pictures in the 1930s and 1940s. Really a very long time ago!

I’m glad you are able to scan this and commit it forever to the digital divide. Most old photos fade with time. This is too precious to lose.
