Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

That looked like a very nice couple of days. We were in Sydney for a Christmas get together with old friends. We have done this for over twenty years. A tradition. We all bring food and just sit and talk. Lovely.
Great pictures and lovely coastal scenes.
It’s wonderful, Gerard, to meet old friends like this. This is the true spirit of the Christmas Season. 🙂
We took an awful lot of pictures during these two days at the beach. I try to publish soon a few more of these pictures.
I am sure this short stay at Bulli Beach is going to stick in our memory. I hope before too long we can do something similar again! 🙂
What a beautiful sunrise – and your cheeky breakfast visitor made smile. Thank you for giving me some beauty to start the day. 😀
I am glad, Catherine, that you liked my pictures. There are more to come! 🙂
Oh Aunty Uta – beautiful, just beautiful. I can almost smell the freshness. Wonderful quality photos 🙂
Thanks, Noeleen. Today I might get some time to publish a few more photos. 🙂

I would very much like to spend a few nights and days in one of these beach cabins again!

I was about to make almost the same comment as I did first time around! Being more of an owl than a lark, I rarely get to watch the sun rise, especially in summer! Lovely photos, good memories.
Thank you, Cat. Thank you very much. How’s your winter?
