Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

I enjoy your nostalgic pictures Uta, its lovely to see the family harmony in settings that have memory’s.
A beautiful post.
Ian
Thanks, Ian. 🙂
What a lovely trip it would have been.
Five years ago I had not contemplated any blogging yet, Gerard. But as you see. we took quite a few pictures and most I had not published yet. So I try to work out which pictures from that trip are worth publishing. For sure it does bring back a few memories about our trip! All in all we did have a good time. However one brother did give us a bit of a hard time. But more about this later.
I loved the photograph and the way you introduce us to the people you care about.
Thank you for your visit, Janet. Yes, whenever we go to Berlin, we meet a lot of family and friends. 🙂
