Mother and Wife of German Descent
I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com

Looks like a great day out 😀
It was the best, Cat. 🙂
Beautiful day! The weather and the water look wonderful!
This is true, Robert, we were just lucky that we picked such a beautiful day for our meeting at the beach. 🙂
Great pics of an excellent family outing Uta, another memory for the memory album.
For sure, Ian, our beaches make for great memories. I still love these pictures we took of our outing to Bulli Beach Cafe two years ago:

Beautiful family, Uta. Thanks for sharing. Is that fence in the water to keep the great white sharks away from swimmers?
Fondly,
Elizabeth
Here at Bulli Beach there is this big swimming pool in the water, Elizabeth. My daughter and her partner had great fun swimming in there. last Sunday. I’ve never heard about a shark venturing into a pool like that to disturb swimmers. Somehow I feel swimmers are pretty safe in a pool like that. When you swim in the surf you should swim where there are life savers in attendance. The life saving area is indicated by two flags and you are urged to swim between the two flags where life savers can keep an eye on you.
At some of our beaches there may be a bit of fencing in the water to keep sharks away. But I’ve never been to a beach like that.
I found a blog with pictures of the pools at Bulli Beach. These pictures were taken in October 2010. I publishes them in 2012.
Here they are:
