Up at Mount Keira

In the morning of Tuesday, the 4th of April 2017 we went first to Mount Keira before we drove to Wollongong Harbour. We were very lucky for when we parked our car on Mount Keira the steady rain had just stopped for a moment and we were able to go yo the close by outlook and take pictures of the surroundings. Downtown Wollongong and the ocean were more or less clearly visible, but so were some pretty heavy clouds. And sure enough soon it started to rain again and we had to leave.

A group of Chinese visitors and some other visitors had already assembled at the outlook.

  1. I love the cloud formations!
And what beautiful people AND scenery! Looks like a wonderful day…until the rain fell. But, then I enjoy rain, so I would have welcomed it. 🙂

  2. Excursion to Mt Keira

You wouldn’t believe it,dear Carolyn, but the above link leads to pictures from the year 2000, when our youngest granddaughter was just two years old!

Yes, there is such a great view from the top of Mt.Keira.

My brother Peter Uwe used to live with his wife Astrid fairly close to Berlin, Germany. They now actually live right in the city of Berlin, and I could visit them therfe a few months ago!

So, both of them came for a visit to Australia in April 2017, and we went with them to the top of Mount Kaira. Later on we drove down to Wollongong Harbour, where we ended up in an immense downpour!

Thanks, Carolyn, for your comment from 2017! Nobody else commented.

    🥰 Hugs, Uta
