Just now, Joe Carli from ‘freefall’ gave the above post of mine a ‘like’. I read it again and noticed that I already reblogged it on February 25, 2020 and wrote: “This post from 22 August,2013, was something I just want to have a look at again. I very much like to read some of these old blogs!”

Peter and David in an outside area of the Nursing HomeDavid was allowed to have his lunch outside. But he hardly touched it.David gave me this Mother’s Day gift on the day Peter and I visited him. He said he had bought raffle tickets to win this to give it to me. I was very touched by this.

I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Yes, Uta..the past, present and future are a conundrum to me in the point of time…Time, as an instrument of measurement or physical passage of has always perplexed me…and I can understand the idea of re-incarnation as a possibility in the genetic sense..for as we who read this are alive in this day, means that we can physically connect to our genetic ancestors back to the very first humans who walked on the planet…and when WE reproduce through our children, just like the grape vine reproduces another vine from a cutting, we continue on in the circle to the future…it is confusing when one tries to think it out..and one crashes into that wall of reality and fact against fiction and fantasy….and I have to say that I still do not have my finger on the possibility of a solution…for I cannot believe the religious doctrines on the subject..but I did try my hand at a story about it….here..: https://freefall852.wordpress.com/2018/05/16/the-man-who-discovered-forever/
