Auntie, Sister. Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Mother and Wife of German Descent I've lived in Australia since 1959 together with my husband Peter. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. I started blogging because I wanted to publish some of my childhood memories. I am blogging now also some of my other memories. I like to publish some photos too as well as a little bit of a diary from the present time. Occasionally I publish a story with a bit of fiction in it. Peter, my husband, is publishing some of his stories under berlioz1935.wordpress.com View all posts by auntyuta

looks like a wonderful family gathering – and nobody having to cook or wash up!
For sure, Cat, that’s great. It’s quite a treat to be spoiled with table service. 🙂
Your family photos are wonderful, Uta. A gathering of this kind is always affirming, I think. Little Lucas has a lot of love coming his way, I’m certain!
So am I, Debra. Yes, I am certain Lucas has a lot of love coming his way. 🙂
Looks like you all had a wonderful time. I bet the food was nice too.
Yes, Gerard, the food was very good and plenty of it. We had this big round table with plenty of dishes to share on the rotating middle section. However I was somewhat restricted in what I could eat for I have at present some major dental problems. I already get some treatment for it but it requires a bit of time to get it rectified. I don’t like meat very much anyway but I had a nice broth with vegetables. I also had some veg spring-rolls, boiled rice and I shared Singapore noodles which were delicious! 🙂
Always a pleasure to visit your loving family Auntyuta.
Beautiful memories to treasure.
Thanks for saying so, Ian. I always love your visits.
