This shop was in Victoria Street in Sydney. Darlinghurst Road was right next to it.

It was Matthew’s birthday. We had given him a large chopping board as a birthday gift. This is why Matthew is carrying this large bag.

Mmh, that ice cream looks very tempting! How nice that the “children” took you out, and what a treat 😀
All four of us, Caroline, Matthew, Peter and I, we just love this kind of special ice-cream and sorbets. 🙂 Thanks for commenting, Cat.
Great photos 🙂 Love the Wind Mill Hill Road. Why so many changes though, I wonder.
Wonderful times, Aunty Uta.
I’m in that cafe where we had lunch right now, in my lunch break! 🙂
Hi Noeleen,
hope you enjoyed your lunch break. I would love to catch up with you again next time we’re going to be in Melbourne. I don’t know though when this is going to be. Our son wants to come and see us here in Dapto towards the end of September. The whole family is looking forward to this. 🙂
Why all these changes in the name giving for Darlinghurst Road? No idea! We know this road only as ‘Darlinghurst Road’. As far as I know it has been Darlinghurst Road for at least the last 50 years.
Yes, we had a good time in Sydney yesterday. That we could see Caroline and Matthew on account of Matthew’s birthday was a special treat for us, You can imagine how very busy they always are tryig to earn a crust and also studying and following a great number of interests!
They went with us to China-Town for lunch. We took a bus from Kings Cross; and then we had to do a bit of walking. Peter took pictures on the way which I’m going to show in my next post. 🙂
